★ Anzac Seven Amphib for OpenSimulator :: Xay Tomsen Creations ★

OpenSimulator virtual worlds

Originally inspired by the real-world LARC-V military amphibs of the 1950s, my in-world avatar, Xay Tomsen produced the first Anzac amphibious 4x4 vehicles in Second Life in 2007.

Over the next decade across multiple OpenSimulator worlds, I reworked the scripts and physics over 50 times, optimising the Anzac's purpose as a high-speed all-terrain rally truck, until finally in 2017, I wrote the code for the insanely capable IruMoto 7 engine.

To celebrate, I redesigned the Anzac's entire body, wheels, and suspension, and the new-look Anzac Seven Amphib was born. The Anzac range remains my all-time favourite.

Specifications ★ Anzac Seven Amphib

The Anzac 7 is a beast on any terrain, whether dirt, sea, or tarmac. It's steering is agile with a hint of understeer. On dirt, the rear drifts realistically as the big off-road tyres scramble for traction.

With realism the goal, this 2 ton goliath lumbers in system water until it reaches speed. It's not a Pedigree Speedboat so don't hope to make it turn sharply on open ocean.

Verdict: The Anzac 7 is an awesome machine to explore big worlds with a friend all day long.

When you purchase an Anzac Seven Amphib, you'll receive the latest model, plus an updater for free upgrades if I mod the code at some future point.

I have used the IruMoto 7 Series engine on other virtual worlds. It should export without major issue to other hypergrid-enabled Some minor code tweaks such as steering direction might be needed, depending on your grid.
