As my avatar, Xay Tomsen, I produced the first version of the Anaconda Hovercraft for Second Life way back in 2012. Six major upgrades later, it remains a highly capable all-terrain vehicle, but now specifically for use on OpenSimulator virtual worlds.
Specifications ★ Anaconda Hovercraft
Built for great performance on system water, the Anaconda is at home on land or sea. Fast in a straight line, the Anaconda doesn't turn as sharply as the Pedigree Speedboat or Gurkha 4x4, but it truly does go anywhere. Perfect for exploring huge var-regions, this mini-sized hovercraft is all about high speed fun on big sweeping landscapes.
Features:
- Powered by bullet-proof IruMoto scripts
- Multi-page dropdown menu for customisation
- Set key to owner only, group only, or anyone
- 55 paint, skin, and seat colour options
- Seats up to 4 avatars (1 driver and 3 passengers)
- Fixed or dynamic POV camera
- 4 speed manual gearbox
- Choice of 3 engine sounds

How to buy
The Anaconda Hovercraft is available in-world at the Tamita Motors showroom in Arius on the DigiWorldz grid. Arius region is hypergrid-enabled so you can teleport there from other virtual worlds and inspect the vehicle to make sure it suits your needs.
Teleport to Tamita Motors
If you have a viewer installed, simply click the landmark below to teleport to Tamita Motors. If you don't have a viewer and would like to check out virtual worlds, download the free Firestorm Viewer, and then join a grid. I recommend DigiWorldz where my avatar has lived happily since 2016. If you take this link to DigiWorldz, I do get a commission if you later decide to rent land. I appreciate your support. 😊
When you purchase an Anaconda Hovercraft, you'll receive the latest model, plus an updater for free upgrades if I mod the code at some future point.
I have used the IruMoto 7 Series engine on other virtual worlds. It should export without major issue to other hypergrid-enabled worlds. Some minor code tweaks such as steering direction might be needed, depending on your grid.
