Hi and welcome. My name is Andrew Thompson. Xay Tomsen is my avatar in OpenSimulator and Second Life, and also the umbrella brand of the gaming content I build and sell for use in virtual worlds.
Xay Tomsen, the world builder
As Xay Tomsen, I've been active in multiple virtual worlds since 2006. My primary goal was always to create content, but as virtual world communities and culture evolved, so too did my purpose.
In the early years, particularly when I founded the Irukandji Continent, land sales took up most of my time. Later as Irukandji took on a life of its own, roleplaying as a Prince of Irukandji became my new obsession.
Since around 2015, I've focused on creation and worldbuilding. Instead of filling the palace with the avatars of real people, the Princes, including my old self, are now all NPCs.
If you bump into me in-world now, I'm normally working around my region, Arius, as a staffer of IruMoto, my script factory that keeps the island running smoothly.
