The sailing sea, Baie de Triomphe, was located in western Irukandji in Second Life.

Baie de Triomphe was part of the French-themed Kalamat State. Clockwise from NW, Baie de Triomphe was bordered by Palu Island, Aquitaine Bay, Split Rock Mountain, Crystal Atolls, Bay of Plenty, Plage de Kalamat, and Rainbow Reef.

Baie de Triomphe was designed to be a purely scenic region for deepwater sailing, and to provide a buffer between 'old' Irukandji and the 'new' districts.

Unfortunately, just like the rest of the islands and seas in Kalamat State, the life of Baie de Triomphe was short-lived due to the sudden 70% price increase in Second Life. No photographs survive of Baie de Triomphe except for the aerial-view map above.
