Not to be confused with a beach of the same name that I built on the Alantay Island sim back in 2007, Adonis Beach was actually a sim in its own right - One of 12 sims that I created on the now-defunct SpotOn3D virtual world.

For various reasons, the foray into SO3D wasn't particularly successful, mostly due to a miniscule population there.

The upside however, was that I had a lot of time to build content. My main focus on Adonis Beach was houses.

The building shown in the photos below is the Toraboyo Manor, which was a larger version of the popular Noumea beach house that I first released in Second Life about four years earlier.

And that I'm afraid, is probably the main claim to fame of Adonis Beach. An unpopulated island, it was only online for three months and is no doubt remembered by very few people besides me. Regardless, it accompanied me on the journey through the history of Irukandji.
