Mulambin Beach is positioned south of Kemp Beach, and north of Causeway Lake, on the Scenic Highway linking Emu Park and Yeppoon.

Mulambin is a broad and shallow sweeping beach, and is arguably the most photographed stretch of coast line in Central Queensland. Its shallow gradient makes it popular with families and fishermen.

The northern end of the beach is cradled against Bluff Point, and in the south, Pinnacle Point, both of which are part of the Capricorn Coast National Park.

Just south of Pinnacle Point, an estuary, Mulambin Creek flows in to the man-made Causeway Lake.

Accessing Mulambin Beach & Pinnacle Point

Mulambin Beach has three car parks, the northernmost of which is only suitable for 4WD vehicles. The other two car parks have toilet facilities and fresh water. Access trails run from the car parks to the beach.

The southernmost carpark also provides access to the walking trail over Pinnacle Point.

Mulambin Beach has no camping facilites, however sites are available at nearby Causeway Lake.

4WD vehicles are permitted on the beach for launching and retrieving boats.
